Holiday Homes Oostmahorn Marina, Oostmahorn, 1994-2002
A tongue of land, used for mooring catamarans, links the reed beds with the shore. Land, water and buildings are thus integrated into a harmonious landscape. The holiday homes are surrounded by reed beds and face out towards clear water. Each house is supported on nine recycled wooden piles measuring 11 to 12 metres in length. The house is accessed by a pier which emerges into a wood-floored patio.
